Lisa Walters-Hoffert

Ms. Walters-Hoffert co-founded Daré Bioscience Operations in 2015 and served as the company’s Chief Business Officer. Following the company’s business combination with Cerulean Pharma in July 2017, she became Chief Financial Officer of the renamed company, Daré Bioscience. Ms. Walters-Hoffert currently serves as a member of the board of directors of Flux Power Holdings, a publicly-traded company offering lithium-ion battery packs for industrial use.

For over twenty-five years, Ms. Walters-Hoffert was an investment banker focused on small-cap public companies in the technology and life sciences sectors. From 2003 to 2015, Ms. Walters-Hoffert worked for Roth Capital Partners as Managing Director in the Investment Banking Division, overseeing the firm’s San Diego office and its activities with respect to medical device, diagnostic and specialty pharma companies. Ms. Walters-Hoffert previously held various positions in the corporate finance and investment banking divisions of Citicorp Securities in San José, Costa Rica and Oppenheimer & Co in New York City, New York.

Ms. Walters-Hoffert is currently a member of the board of directors of The Elementary Institute of Science in San Diego. She previously served as a member of the board of directors of the San Diego Venture Group, as past chair of the UCSD Librarian’s Advisory Board, as past chair of the board of directors of Planned Parenthood of the Pacific Southwest and as chair of the audit committee of Clearity Foundation. Ms. Walters-Hoffert graduated from Duke University with a BS in Management Sciences, magna cum laude.
